2008 Nissan Altima
The 2008 Altima is
powered by a V6 Engine (245 hp) or 4-Cylinder (175 hp), Continuously
Variable Valve Timing, Variable Intake System, Electronic Throttle,
Drive-by-Wire and a Silent Timing Chain. The engine's Variable Intake
System promotes more efficient engine breathing. Continuously Variable
Timing Control constantly and precisely modulates when the valves open
and close.
The 2008 Altima's
other features are suspension sport-tuned suspension, speed-sensitive
Steering
anti-lock braking system (ABS), brake assist
electronic brake force distribution, traction control system.
In addition to standard
4-wheel disc brakes, and an available Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)
option senses the weight in the rear of the car (trunk, rear seat, or
even how much fuel is in the tank) and sends more force to the rear
brakes accordingly. So you experience more effective, better balanced
braking.
For safety, the 2008
Altima has Dual Stage air bags, side air bags, and Front and Rear Side
Curtain air bags. Altima's standard dual stage supplemental front air
bags have two different inflation levels, depending on the severity
of the impact.
