2008 Nissan Xterra

All Xterra's engines
get massive low-end torque for towing the toys.
Nissan engineers did
some modifications on the V6. The result is a thumping 210 horsepower
and 246 lb-ft of torque.
Xterra's 180-hp (that's
10 more than last year) V6 engine puts out 202 lb-ft of torque, with
90% of that monster pulling torque available at a low 1,500 rpm.
Xterra's 143-hp 4-cylinder
engine delivers most of its 154 lb-ft of torque in the crucial low rpm
range, which means plenty of kick off the line. DOHC design ensures
efficient breathing to boost power and fuel economy.
Sport Package this
XE-V6 package includes a traction-boosting limited-slip rear differential,
fog lights, a front tow hook, two 12-volt power outlets under the hood
and a heavy-duty alternator.
The Anti-lock Braking
System on every 4x4 Xterra has a special G-sensor that reads the terrain
so the ABS can adjust to road, dirt, gravel or snow conditions.
